GPR18 is a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) that is expressed in the central nervous system (CNS) and plays a role in the endocannabinoid system. It is found in microglia, gametes, and other tissues such as the brain, heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas, colon, skeletal muscle, ovary, placenta, prostate, adrenal medulla, and adrenal cortex [1]. GPR18 binds to the endogenous ligand N-arachidonoyl glycine (NAGly) and is activated by the agonist abnormal cannabidiol (Abn CBD) [2]. GPR18 has been shown to play a role in blood pressure control [3].
